Welcome to AI Storage Fix (referred to as "the Application", "we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how our Android application handles your information when you download, install, and use our application distributed via the Google Play Store (Application ID: ai.storage.app).

We believe in absolute transparency and user privacy. Our application's core functionality is designed to help you analyze, optimize, compress, and organize your storage on your Android device while keeping your personal content secure.

2. Information We Collect

We distinguish strictly between information processed locally on your device and technical information transmitted for app functionality, subscription management, and diagnostics.

A. Technical & Device Data Transmitted Outside Your Device

• Device Identifiers: Non-personal device installation IDs, device hardware model, Android OS version, and app version numbers.
• Quota & Usage Metadata: Anonymous daily cleaning quota usage state (e.g., number of compressions used per day for free tier management).
• Purchase & Subscription Data: Anonymous purchase user identifiers (`revenueCatID`) and Google Play subscription entitlement tokens to manage your Pro access.
• App Performance & Diagnostics: Crash logs, stack traces, and app activity events (such as button clicks or feature engagement) collected via Firebase and Amplitude.

B. Personal Data We DO NOT Collect

• We do not require account registration with an email or password.
• We do not collect your name, phone number, physical address, or payment card details.
• We do not upload or store your photos, videos, contacts, or documents on external servers.

3. Information Processed on Your Device 100% Local

To provide storage analysis and cleanup tools, AI Storage Fix requires access to specific device data categories. All processing described below takes place entirely on your device using local Android APIs and embedded native libraries (such as OpenCV):

• Photo & Video Analysis: Scanning for duplicate photos, blurry images, screenshots, and large media files. OpenCV Laplacian variance calculation and sharpness scoring are computed locally.
• Media Compression: Compressing local photos and videos to reduce storage space (using native on-device compression algorithms). Original or compressed media files never leave your device.
• Contact Storage Management: Detecting duplicate, incomplete, or nameless contacts and offering merge or delete operations.
• Calendar Storage Management: Scanning and removing past calendar events to declutter device calendars.
• Secret Space (Vault): Encrypting private photos, videos, or files in a PIN-protected local app storage directory.

4. Photos, Videos and Files 100% Local

Files, photos, videos, and other media selected for scanning, compression, or organization are processed locally on your device and are not uploaded to our servers.

When you grant storage permissions (such as READ_MEDIA_IMAGES, READ_MEDIA_VIDEO, or MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE), the application reads file metadata (file size, resolution, date taken) solely to display storage breakdowns and suggest cleanup items to you in the user interface.

5. Device and Storage Information

To compute overall device storage status (used vs. available storage in GB/MB), AI Storage Fix reads total device storage statistics provided by the Android Operating System. This calculation is displayed locally on your main screen dashboard.

6. Analytics and Diagnostics Transmitted

We use third-party analytics SDKs to understand how users interact with AI Storage Fix and to improve application stability and performance. These tools collect anonymized app interaction statistics:

7. Firebase & Crash Reporting Transmitted

We use Firebase Crashlytics to automatically record crash logs and stack traces when the app encounters an unexpected error. This information helps our engineering team fix bugs quickly.

Data transmitted to Crashlytics includes state of the app at crash time, device architecture, operating system version, and timestamp. Crashlytics logs do not contain your personal media or files.

8. Third-Party Services

AI Storage Fix integrates with select third-party service providers strictly to perform operational functions:

• Firebase Authentication & Remote Config: Provides background anonymous user credentials (without personal account registration) to securely sync daily quota limits and configuration toggles.
• Google Play Billing & RevenueCat: Processes in-app purchases and subscription entitlements. Financial and payment card details are handled directly and securely by Google Play. RevenueCat receives an anonymous user ID (`revenueCatID`) to verify your active subscription status.
• Google Drive API (Optional User-Initiated Contact Backup): If you explicitly choose to back up your contacts to the cloud, the app connects directly to your personal Google Drive via Google OAuth APIs. Contact files (`.vcf`) are saved in a folder named AI Storage fix in your own Google Drive. We never receive or store your contacts on developer servers.

9. How We Use Information

We use the minimal technical information collected for the following legitimate business purposes:

• To provide and maintain the Application's core features (storage analysis, photo/video compression, contact management).
• To manage daily free cleaning limits and enforce subscription entitlements.
• To analyze app usage trends and optimize feature layout and performance.
• To detect, prevent, and address technical bugs, security issues, or crashes.

10. How We Share Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or media files to any third party.

We share data only with the service providers described in this Privacy Policy (Google Firebase, Amplitude, RevenueCat) strictly to support app analytics, crash reporting, subscription billing, and quota enforcement. These service providers are bound by contractual data protection obligations.

11. Data Storage and Retention

• Local Data: All local database entries (Room DB), preferences, secret space PINs, and local cache remain on your Android device until you clear the app data or uninstall the application.
• Remote Quota Metadata: Anonymous device installation IDs and quota usage states stored in Firebase Firestore are retained only as long as necessary to enforce usage limits.
• Analytics & Crash Data: Aggregated diagnostic data is retained by Firebase and Amplitude according to their default retention schedules (typically 14 months).

12. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational measures designed to protect technical information against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

Your local app preferences are protected using Android System Security APIs, and sensitive data stored locally uses encrypted Android storage frameworks. However, please note that no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

13. Data Deletion & User Control

You have full control over your data within AI Storage Fix:

A. Local App Data

You can delete all locally stored data, secret space files, and preferences at any time by going to your Android device settings: Settings > Apps > AI Storage Fix > Storage & Cache > Clear Storage, or by simply uninstalling the application.

B. Google Drive Contact Backups

If you created a contact backup in Google Drive using our app, you can delete the backup directly within the app's Contact Backups screen or by navigating to your Google Drive account and removing the AI Storage fix folder.

C. Account Deletion Disclosure

Because AI Storage Fix does not require user account creation, registration, email logins, or cloud profile storage, there is no online user account to delete.

14. Regional Privacy Rights (GDPR & CCPA/CPRA)

Depending on your country or state of residence, you may have specific privacy rights under applicable data protection laws, such as the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), UK GDPR, or California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA / CPRA):

• Right of Access & Portability: You have the right to request information about the data we process.
• Right to Erasure / Deletion: You have the right to request deletion of any non-local technical data associated with your device identifier.
• Right to Object & Opt-Out: You can opt out of analytics tracking by clearing app data or uninstalling the app.
• No Data Sales: We do not "sell" or "share" personal data as defined by the CCPA/CPRA.

15. Children's Privacy

AI Storage Fix is a general utility application intended for general audiences. It is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in certain European jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take steps to remove such information.

16. International Data Transfers

Non-personal technical diagnostics and subscription telemetry processed by Firebase, Amplitude, or RevenueCat may be stored on servers located outside your country of residence (such as in the United States). These providers use standard contractual clauses and compliant data transfer frameworks.

17. Third-Party Links

Our application or website may contain links to third-party websites or services (such as Google Play subscription management pages). We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third-party sites.

18. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in app functionality, operational legal requirements, or regulatory guidance. We will post the revised Privacy Policy on this page and update the "Last Updated" date at the top.
